Purchased kit from Brad & Tim Lovette back in 76' while I was working overseas, so kit was put into storage. As I recall from a wall chart that Tim had in his office I recall that I bought the 181st kit. When I returned from overseas (Iran) in 1977 I stopped by Manta Cars (I believe they were in Costa Mesa near Harbor Blvd by that time) Tim had informed me of his brother's death. Fast forward over the years and unfortunately the project has languished for a variety of reasons. Now things are beginning to change and with the advent of the Internet it looks like that with Manta websites & lots of contacts for advice and support that situation has now changed. Time & money certainly help. |
