Notes |
This was Gar Thompsons car I bought it from him and had it shipped to Michigan from California, I have rebuilt the 327 to provide more power rebuilt the trans, thanks to Ken Handy of Pontiac, and added nitrous for a extra kick. the rear end is a 3:55 non LS so the car does have a little trouble hooking up but it is a blast to drive. I have spent many hours and half a gallon of liquid thread lock and a quart of bondo putting this thing together the way it should be. after paint it should be ready to take some magazine covers. the car is super fast, but no solid numbers as to 0-60 1/4 mile ect. should be all done by spring. some suprises are upper and lower doors and rear hatch (stil waiting for arival of rear clip but the actuators are installed) open by remote control, color reverse backup camera with night vision and fold down/up dash mounted display screen, full butt kicken stereo system by the guys at
Ultimate Body in Brighton, full purple neon underbody with pink in the engine compartment and front grill, red LED's used through-out for accent in wheel wells, air vents and interior, air ride suspention that raises and lowers the ride height at the push of a button. I can't wait till spring.
