The car was originally equiped with the Karmann Ghia front suspension. I later modified the front chassis to accept Mustang parts. Anti-dive angle was modofied to prevent the long front from scraping. The adjustable air shocks were removed. Brakes were modified to split system and clutch hyd has independent master cyl. The car has stainless brake lines front to rear, aluminum foam filled fuel tank. I'm looking for the latest information on transaxles for the smallblock Chevy. I have gone through 4 '66 Corvair transaxles and am looking for something more durable. |
