From previous owner, Jim Zurn: I'm the 4th owner of my Manta Mirage. I'm lucky that the original owner kept meticulous records (and every owner followed his lead). My car is fully documented with original bill-of-sale and many personal correspondences with the factory. The car came with an original assembly manual and construction pictures of many modifications over it's lifespan. The car is currently being reconditioned from the bare frame up with all new suspension, 4 wheel disk brakes, right-hand drive, frame strengthening/torsional rigidity modifications plus major engine modifications to increase HP. Efforts are underway to lighten the car to bare minimum weight and enable spirited slalom racing on the weekend. I've owned the car since 1990, having purchased it from a airline mechanic in Denver (CO). The car has been licensed in CA and CO (smog legal in both states). I'm looking forward to getting back on the road by March 2001. |
