The car was completed for road/show use in 1986. From 1986 thru 1996 it was a road and show car. In 1996 I joined the Midwest Council Sportscar Club and began racing in the ASR class at Blackhawk Farms Raceway in South Beliot, IL. I have also raced at Road America and at Gingerman Raceway (just east of South Haven, MI). Set the track record in the ASR class at Gingerman Raceway in Sept, 1999 and was class champion in 1999. I sat out the 2001 season due to engine problems, but I will be back for 2002!
The engine is a 2001 Rover block with a Moldex steel crank, LA Custom Sleeves, Buick 300 heads, Crane Cam, FAST fuel injection, dry sump oil system, and MSD crank trigger ignition.
