Horns are available through most auto parts outlets. Usually they are supplied with some sort of mounting brackets which make the installation very easy.
1. Mount the horn to the upper shock mount cross member. Be sure the horn is below the body line, so you won’t have interference with the body when installed. 2. Use a horn relay switch, any model of 12 volt relay will work. Find one that will have a mounting boss on it for easy installation. A good location to mount the relay switch is on the left side steering column bracket mount on the chassis. 3. Drill a small hole through the flat bar stock mount and bolt the relay on. All wiring will be done later. |
