The battery mount can be used from many passenger cars produced today. The type used in our application uses a base mount with a top hold down bracket and long side stud hold downs.

The base mount will be attached to the belly pan between the cab firewall and the front motor mount cross-member on the passenger side of the chassis. It will be necessary to cut an access hole through the seat bucket and firewall just big enough to fit the battery through. We suggest using the firewall piece that is cut out and make an attachable door that can be replaced each time access to the battery is required.

The door will seal and insulate the heat from the engine compartment.
